Scene of Daikakuji
In 1922, the Osawa pond with the Rapids of Nakoso was designated as a place of national scenic beauty, and in 1938, the entire area comprising the Daikakuji precincts were designated as a national historic site.
Daikakuji has various architectures and treasures of political, historical, and cultural importance.
