Access
Daikakuji is located in Saga-Arashiyama. Please visit Daikakuji temple when you stroll around this place.
It is accessible by bus even from the center of Kyoto such as Kyoto Station or Shijo Station.If you come by train, the walk from Saga-Arashiyama station on Keifuku Line or JR should take you around 15 minutes.If you choose to walk from Hankyu Arashiyama Station,it takes around 25 minutes.
Buses bound for Daikakuji start from the following stations.
- Kyoto Station of the JR or Kintetsu Line
- Shijo-karasuma Station of Hankyu Line or the subway
- Shijo-Omiya Station of Hankyu Line or the Keifuku Line
- Arashiyama Station of Hankyu Line or Keifuku Line
- Sanjo Station of Keihan Line
